Development of socio-economic factors on the development of land use in the selected locality
MAXA, Ondřej
The main goal of this thesis was to evaluate the development of socio-economic factors depending on the development of land use in the village Chvalšiny. This analysis was carried out over the last thirty years, i.e. from 1991-2021. This time was divided into four periods - 1991, 2001, 2011 and 2021. The reason for this division was the availability of data from the Census of Population, Houses and Apartments, which is held every ten years. To determine developmental changes over time, the results of the mentioned Census of Population, Houses and Apartments (socio-economic factors) and archival orthophoto maps (land use) on the ČÚZK geoportal were used, specifically the viewing service WMS - Archival Orthophoto. Individual partial works, connected with the development of final map outputs, took place in the ArcGIS Pro program (a newer version of the ArcMap program). The results of selected socio-economic factors (9) were processed in the form of tables in the Microsoft Excel program. During the practical part, it was found that the municipality of Chvalšiny shows favorable values in the long term in terms of socio-economic indicators, and in the near future it should not face problems that could lead, for example, to the depopulation of the municipality. In terms of land use, there has been a noticeable change when over the years up to 95 % of the original arable land area has been converted to permanent grassland (TTP) and today only 24.6 hectares of arable land can be found in this area. An unambiguous mutual relationship between the development of socio-economic factors and the development of land use, where it would be possible to clearly state that one of the indicators has a clear impact on land use or vice versa, could not be demonstrated in this time period.

Single-parent families are a contemporary phenomenon because the number of dependent children in the incomplete families in the Czech republic has increased by almost a half in the last fifteen years. The thesis provides information about various data sources regarding single-parent families and it evaluates their use and comparability for the research. It also contains an analysis of the structure of families and households based on the population development and census data in the Czech Republic. The financial situation of single-parent families is examined in detail - their income expenditure, individual groups of cash expenditures. Horáková, Lucie ; Šídlo, Luděk (advisor) ; Kocová, Markéta (referee)
Public registers in Czech Republic and their usage in demography Abstract The aim of this thesis is to introduce registers in gestion of ministries and other government bureaus and compare collected data in these registers with the ones collected in census. From the comparision results was designed process and methodology to replace census using paper forms with automatically collected data from registers or at least reduce the number of questions filled in the forms. With respect to huge scale of different registers used in Czech Republic, the selection of registers was conditioned with their connection to census collected data. Such registers are described with their function, collected data and their connection to census. It is clear, that this possibility is viable for main part of collected data, for the other part additional survey is still needed. Development of socio-spatial differentiation in region Severovýchod using the results of census 1980 - 2011
Komárek, Marek ; Netrdová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Semian, Michal (referee)
Bachelor's thesis covers the development of socio-spatial differentiation in region NUTS II Severovýchod at the base of the data from the last four nationwide census. Monitoring is executed at the local level represented by municipalities. The region is also introduced in the Czech and European context. Quantitative research confirmed the expected trends. The concentration of core and peripheral areas has increased from the census in 1991 (the first census after the fall of socialism) regardless the population size of municipalities. Also the concentration of the population often exceeds the boundaries of municipalities with extended sphere of action. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
